Bathwater - Safe water for bathrooms & showers

Valmonas Analytik AG offers comprehensive microbiological testing for shower, bath and wellness facilities – in accordance with the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance and relevant ISO standards .
Our goal: Hygienic safety for bathers, patients and users.

Warum Badewasseruntersuchungen wichtig sind

Water in swimming pools, whirlpools, wellness areas, or showers can be a breeding ground for microorganisms. Especially at elevated temperatures or with aerosol formation (e.g., in hot tubs, steam rooms, showers), there is a risk from germs such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Legionella .

Regular analyses ensure:

  • Legal certainty (legally compliant audits)

  • Health protection (avoidance of infection risks)

  • Quality assurance for operators

Our microbiological tests

We analyze your bath water for the following parameters:

Aerobic, mesophilic bacteria

Escherichia coli

Enterococci

Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Legionella spp.

The selection of parameters depends on the type of water and the usage scenario, for example:

  • Swimming and bathing pool water

  • Baths with biological water treatment

  • Bubble baths / whirlpools with > 23 °C and aerosol formation

  • Steam baths

  • Shower facilities
